Friends of Jason Osborne (the “Committee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a New Hampshire political action committee supporting the election of Jason Osborne. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our websites, including https://osborne4nh.com, https://www.osborne4nh.com, and any other sites we own and operate (collectively, the “Site”), donate, sign up to volunteer, receive e-mails or text messages from us, or otherwise interact with us online or offline.
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site or providing information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect both personal and non-personal information, including:
a. Information You Voluntarily Provide
- Name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, and mobile number
- Donation and payment information (credit/debit card numbers, billing address, etc.)
- Volunteer and petition signatures
- Responses to surveys or questionnaires
- Any other information you choose to provide when you contact us, sign up for updates, or request SMS/text alerts
b. Information Collected Automatically
- IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and other analytics data
- Cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies (see “Cookies & Tracking Technologies” below)
c. Information from Third-Party Advertising & Data Vendors
When you see our ads on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Google, StackAdapt, or other platforms, those platforms and our advertising vendors may share with us certain data (e.g., ad identifiers, hashed e-mail or phone numbers, lookalike audience data) so we can measure campaign effectiveness and reach similar voters.
d. SMS/Text Messaging Programs
When you opt in to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from us, we collect your mobile phone number and carrier information. Message and data rates may apply. We may also record whether you open, click, or reply to our texts.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Process donations and send contribution receipts required by New Hampshire law
- Send you campaign updates, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising appeals via e-mail and SMS
- Deliver targeted digital and mobile advertising
- Improve our website, messaging, and outreach strategies
- Comply with state and federal campaign finance reporting requirements (RSA 664, FEC where applicable)
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, or technical problems
- Respond to your inquiries or law enforcement requests
3. Mass Text Messaging (SMS/MMS) & Peer-to-Peer Texting
We use several compliant platforms (e.g., Twilio, CallHub, GetThru, RumbleUp, Hustle, etc.) to send mass and peer-to-peer text messages. By providing your mobile number and opting in (via web form, keyword reply such as “JOIN”, or paper sign-up), you expressly consent to receive recurring informational and fundraising text messages from Friends of Jason Osborne and our authorized vendors.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message.
- After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us at the phone number listed on the Site.
- Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We follow TCPA, CTIA, and mobile carrier guidelines. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies
Our Site and advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies required for site functionality
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, etc.) to understand how visitors use the Site
- Advertising cookies and pixels from Facebook, Google, X, StackAdapt, and other partners to deliver and measure political ads
- You can control cookies through your browser settings and tools such as the “Do Not Track” feature, but some features of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
5. Embedded Content & Third-Party Links
Articles and pages on this Site may include embedded content (YouTube videos, Twitter/X posts, Facebook feeds, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you visited that website directly. These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction.
6. Who We Share Your Information With
We may share your information with:
- Authorized vendors and service providers (website hosting, payment processors (ActBlue, WinRed, Aned, etc.), e-mail/SMS platforms, digital advertising firms, data analytics providers)
- Social media and advertising platforms (Facebook, Google, X/Twitter, StackAdapt, etc.) for audience building and ad delivery
- State and federal authorities when required for campaign finance reporting (New Hampshire Secretary of State, FEC if applicable)
- Law enforcement or government officials when required by law or to protect our legal rights
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own commercial purposes.
7. Political Contribution Data (Public Disclosure)
Under New Hampshire law (RSA 664) and federal law, certain contribution information—including your name, address, occupation, employer, and contribution amount—may be publicly reported and disclosed on campaign finance reports that are available to the public.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by campaign finance, tax, or other applicable law. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely for moderation purposes. Contribution records are retained for the period required by law (typically 7–10 years).
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our Site and services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Your Choices & Rights
- You may opt out of e-mail communications by clicking “unsubscribe” in any e-mail.
- You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP (see section 3).
- Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion). New Hampshire does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law equivalent to CCPA/CPRA, but you may still contact us with requests and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
