The president of the Timberlane Teachers’ Association drew criticism after telling legislators that teachers should be able to work without ‘interference from parents and laws,’ NH Journal reported. The comment came as she opposed HB1015, a bill cosponsored by House Majority Leader Jason Osborne.

The bill would give parents a process to replace material they find objectionable.
The law in question, HB 1015, would allow parents to swap out, at their own cost, any material being taught to their child that they find objectionable.
